    A graduate of Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, Rob is a businessman, leader, and entrepreneur in several different industries, including financial services, real estate development and investment, and agribusiness.  Currently, he is president and treasurer of Funderburg Farms, Inc. and president & treasurer of K-B Farms, Inc. 

    Rob's dedication to his community is not only evident through his professional contributions but also through his board positions.  He has served on numerous boards and continues to serve on many, including the YMCA of Rock River Valley, Rockford Art Museum, Keith School, Belvidere Community School District #100 Foundation for Excellence In Education, Rockford Symphony Orchestra Foundation and Rockford Park District Foundation.  In addition, Rob was a board member of the United Way of Rock River Valley where he and his wife, Cathy, chaired the Tocqueville Society for five years.

    In 2009, Rob was honored by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as the Citizen of the Year.  In 2010, Rob was awarded the Doctor of Civic Betterment by the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce.

    With over four decades of experience in the financial services industry and over 30 years at Alpine Bank, Bill is an integral part of making the Alpine Bank Family prosper in Winnebago, Boone and DeKalb Counties.

    Helping to build a stronger local business community is one of Bill's passions.  He continues to work personally with clients in order to meet their financial needs and goals.  Committed to helping our community, Bill has been an active volunteer and board member of numerous local nonprofit organizations.  He is the immediate past chairman of the SwedishAmercican Health Systems Board of Directors,  past chairman of the Rockford Area Economic Development Council, past chairman of the Rockford Boys & Girls Club, past chairman of the Rockford Rescue Mission and past chairman and board member of the Rockford Area Crime Stoppers. 

    In 2011, Bill was honored by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as one of the People You Should Know and received the 2011 Crusader Spirit of Caring Award.  Also, Bill received the Rockford Rescue Mission Epiphany Award in 2007 and the Philanthropy Day Award for Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Rockford Area Chapter in 2006.

    Rex is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance.  For over 30 years, he has worked in the financial services industry.  In addition, Rex is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of Financial International and a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants.

    He is a board member of Rockford Lutheran School and Zion Development Corporation, Inc.

    Larry, retired president and CEO of Anderson Packaging, Inc., received his Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance from the University of Illinois and studied for his Master of Business Administration at DePaul University.  He began his career as a financial analyst at Motorola and US Steel and then worked in material control and controllership for Rexham and FMC corporations.  Prior to joining Anderson Packaging, he served as president of Midland Mechanical, Inc.  Larry served as president of Anderson Packaging, from 1980 until his retirement in 2008.

    A Certified Public Accountant, John is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.  Throughout his professional career, he worked for an international accounting firm and served as vice president of financial planning for a diversified, family-owned business.  He was also a founder of his own company, a partner of a regional CPA firm and served as chief financial officer for a manufacturing company.  John joined the Alpine Bank Family in 1991, where he has held such offices as executive vice president of Alpine Trust & Investment Group and chief financial officer of Alpine Bancorporation, Inc.

    John is a founding member of the Boone County Community Foundation and past president of ZION Development Corporation.  He previously served as a board member and president of the Rock Valley College Foundation and of Wesley Willows.

     

  • James L. Gingrich

    With a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Coe College, Jim is a Certified Public Accountant.  He served as president of Hamilton Sundstrand Aerospace Flight Systems and Services until his retirement.  Prior to joining Hamilton-Sundstrand, he worked at Rockwell International Corporation. 

    Jim has been a member of the Alpine Bank Family since 2005.  He is a past president of both the Rockford Symphony Orchestra and the Vizsla Club of Illinois.  He also serves as a board member of Bergstrom Corporation, Realityworks and SwedishAmerican Hospital.  Previously, he served as a board member of Speaker Corporation, United Way of Rock River Valley, the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, the Rockford Council of 100 and Rock River Valley Red Cross.

  • Donald G. Meier

    Serving as a member of the Alpine Bank Board of Directors since 1999, Don is a self-employed grain and hog farmer who successfully manages over 800 acres and raises 30,000 pigs each year.

    In addition to farming, he previously held positions with the Boone County Board and as a Boone Township Supervisor. Don has also served as a board member of the North Boone School Board and the Capron Lutheran Church Board.

  • Raymond M. Porter

    A past instructor at the U.S. Army Signal School, Ray studied at the University of Toledo in the electric engineering program. He joined the Alpine Bank Family in 1992 as a board member and is currently a self-employed business consultant. He previously served as group president of A.P.V. Holdings in London, England, and as chairman of the board of Bergstrom, Inc. in Rockford.

    He served on the board of YMCA of the Rock River Valley in several roles, including chairman of the Fitness Center Board and chairman of the Endowment Committee. In addition, Ray has been a board member of On-Site Woodwork.

  • Curtis R. Tobin

    With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, Curt graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree and currently practices through his own firm, Tobin and Ramon. He has been a member of the Alpine Bank Family since 1984 when he accepted the position of director.

    He currently volunteers at Zion Lutheran Church and is head football coach at Belvidere North High School. Curt is past president and a member of the IOU Club of Belvidere and a board member of the Attorneys Title Guarantee Fund. Previously, he has served as a director of the United Givers, a board member of the Belvidere Family YMCA, and a board member of the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Curt was a member of the Belvidere/Boone County Planning Commission, past president of the Zion Lutheran Church Board of Trustees, a board member for Growth Dimensions of Belvidere and Boone County, Inc., and a trustee for the Lutheran Social Services of Illinois.

    A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Dick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history from Coe College.  He also graduated from Samford University Cumberland School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.  He is a partner with the law firm of Barrick, Switzer, Long, Balsley & Van Evera, LLP. 

    He currently serves as president and board member of Growth Dimensions of Belvidere and Boone County, Inc.  He is also involved with the Riverfront Development Committee, is a board member of the Rockford Regional Economic Development District and a board member of the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce.  In addition, Dick is a member of the IOU Club of Belvidere, the Air Force Association and the Military Officers Association of America. 

    He previously served on the boards of Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford Symphony Orchestra, the Center for Sight and Hearing, Goldie Floberg and the Epilepsy Foundation of North Central Illinois.

    President of Dickerson & Nieman Realtors, Frank graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  He is an Illinois licensed real estate broker and a past president of the Rockford Area Association of Realtors.

    Frank is a member and former president of the Rockford Cosmopolitan Club.  Currently, he serves  on the board of directors at two local organizations, as well as, the board of the Rockford Area Association of Realtors.  When he and his family are not at a sporting tournament or game, Frank and his family enjoy spending time at one of the many family attractions offered in the Rock River Valley.

    A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and the National Auto Dealers Association Dealer Candidate School, Amy is part owner of Jack Wolf Pontiac-Cadillac-GMC, Inc. and Jack Wolf Chrysler/Jeep with her father John T. (Jack) Wolf who started the business in 1963.

    She has been a member of the Alpine Bank Family since 2006 when she accepted the position of director. Her community involvement includes serving on the SwedishAmerican Hospital Board of Directors, the Belvidere Family YMCA Board of Directors and the Children’s Home & Aid Society Board of Directors.

  • John T. Wolf

    A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, John earned his Bachelor of Art in business.  He took continuing education through UW-Madison and is a graduate of the GM School of Merchandising and Management.  He currently is the GM Sales Manager for Jack Wolf Cadillac – GMC.

    John is a past member of Chevrolet’s Legion of Leaders Sales Society and of the Regional Advertising Advisory board for Chevrolet.  He is the past board president and current board member of the Belvidere Chamber of Commerce.  He was the 2013 recipient of the Chamber’s Dr. of Civic Betterment Award.  He is a board member and executive committee member of Growth Dimensions of Belvidere/Boone County and member of the Riverfront bike path committee.  In addition, John is a board member for the Boone County Community Foundation and the Boone County Historical Museum.  He is past chairman of the Illinois Automobile Dealer Association and past president and current member of Belvidere IOU Club.  He is also a member, volunteer and church council member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church.
