Our Investment Strategy Team meets on a weekly basis to discuss market trends, current risk/reward potential for various asset classes based on valuation, market opportunities, economic conditions and their impact on global markets, and individual mutual fund manager performance. The team then discusses the appropriate long and short-term strategies that are appropriate for all clients given market conditions.
Although asset allocation is determined at the client level, basic investment strategies are applied to all client portfolios. For example, if the committee is cautious on the valuation of small cap stocks, all client portfolios will have a lesser than normal exposure to that asset class.
