David A. Thompson, Executive Vice PresidentWith more than 40 years of experience in financial services, David has been committed to helping people in the Rock River Valley throughout his entire career. A lifelong resident of Rockford, David has worked at Alpine Bank for the last 10 years. He is currently a trustee and a member of the executive committee of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, serves on the executive committee of the Discovery Center Board of Directors, and is a member of the policy committee of the Connecting our Future Capital Campaign. David is also president of the Northern Illinois Community Development Corporation Board of Directors, an emeritus director of the Golden Apple Foundation, and an honorary director of OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center.
James M. Corcoran, Senior Vice PresidentWith over 25 years of experience in commercial banking, Jim is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Commercial Lending School and is also a graduate of Beloit College with a bachelor's degree in economics and management. He has volunteered as a coach of youth girls' basketball with the Oregon Park District and Byron Park District.
Joseph L. Licari, Senior Vice PresidentA graduate of Rockford College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and finance, Joe has worked in financial services for 34 years, 9 of those at Alpine Bank, and is also a graduate of the Illinois Executive Graduate School of Banking at the University of Illinois. He is an executive board member and past vice president of finance of the Blackhawk Area Council BSA and is past president and a board member of Barbara Olson Center of Hope. In addition, Joe is past president and a board member of the Epilepsy Foundation of North Central Illinois, Iowa & Nebraska and is a board member of the Midway Village Museum. His community involvement also includes participating on the Helping Hands Food Pantry Annual Fund Raising Committee, participating on the Arthritis Foundation's Arthritis Golf Challenge Committee, and serving as campaign vice chair of the United For Youth Capital Campaign benefiting Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
Patrick W. Morrow, Senior Vice President Earning his Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis in business from Rock Valley College, Patrick graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor of Business degree with major emphasis on organizational development/behavior. He is a lifelong resident of the Rock River Valley and has a total of 25 years of experience in financial services, 17 of those in commercial/business banking. Patrick also graduated from the National Commercial Lending School, Norman, OK. He is a board member and past board chairman and treasurer of La Voz Latina Hispanic Resource Center and is a board member and former vice president of finance for the Blackhawk Area Council Boy Scouts of America. In addition, he is a charities board member of the Rockford Cosmopolitan Club, a committee member of the Village of Machesney Park revolving loan fund and a campaign cabinet member of the United Way of Rock River Valley.
Margaret "Peg" K. Wilkerson, CPA, Senior Vice PresidentA certified public accountant, Peg is a graduate of Rockford College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She has worked at Alpine Bank for 12 years and has 26 years of experience in financial services, including 2 years working in public accounting. Peg is currently the chair of the Winnebago County Small Business Loan Committee, a member of the advisory board of the Rock Valley College Small Business Development Center, and a member of the board of directors of Rosecrance, Inc.
Scott E. Hawes, Vice PresidentWith a Bachelor of Science in finance from Southern Illinois University, Scott has 15 years of experience in financial services. He previously completed the formal ICE credit training program and joined the business services team in 2007. Scott is currently the treasurer of the Epilepsy Foundation of Northern Illinois and a board member of the Patriot's Gateway Center.
Kenneth E. May, Vice PresidentKen, a graduate of Rockford Business College with an associate degree, has worked at Alpine Bank for 10 years and has 46 years of experience in financial services. He is currently the treasurer of the Rockford Local Development Corp. Board of Directors, is a board member of the Northern Illinois Community Development Corporation, an honorary board member of OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, and a board member of St. Anne Center. In addition, Ken serves on the program related investment committee of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, is a member on the advisory commission of St. Anne Place, and is on the board of the Diocese of Rockford Finance Council.
Rhonda Sunden, Vice PresidentRhonda, who attended the University of Arkansas, has a total of 21 years of experience in financial services with 6 of those years at Alpine Bank. She is currently a board member of the Girl Scouts Rock River Valley Council, participates on the United for Youth Capital Campaign for the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and is a member of the United for Youth Building Committee. In addition, she has worked with the United Way of Rock River Valley, Junior Achievement of Rock River Valley, and the YMCA of Rock River Valley.
Gary P. Binicewicz, Assistant Vice PresidentA native of the Rockford area, Gary is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in finance and business economics. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. Gary has 20 years of experience in financial services, including 7 years in commercial banking and financial analysis. He is currently a board member of The Center for Sight & Hearing.
